March 17, 2023 - Materiality | Hand Cut and Hand Torn Layered Paper: New Work By Krista Reuter
Krista, a Michigan based artist recognized for her hand cut and hand torn layered paper creations. Her work is an exploration of light and shadow and how a 2 dimensional plane can be transformed into a 3 dimensional object. She enjoys using abstract patterns and shapes found in nature as themes for these explorations.
Wonderland: New Work By Stephanie Hock and Dee Dee Lantzy
Hocks colorful wonderland paintings, literally explore tender moments with friends and family playing in the snow. Dee Dee Lantzy alludes to wonderland and winters in our area with sparkling surfaces and references to specific places with origami media.
Glimmer : New work by Dee Dee Lantzy, Elaine Coombs, and guest artist Kathe Fraga
Like jewelry for your walls, these three artists create mixed media artwork that glimmers and sparkles. Original artwork that adds a beautiful polished look to your walls. Guest artist Kathe Fraga's paintings are inspired by the romance of vintage floral French wallpapers and Chinoiserie with a modern twist. Coombs' new skyscapes have the pearlescent shimmer of sunsets and sunrises, and Lantzy's sculptural abstracts sparkle with jewel-like crystals and delicate metallic accents.
